This restored Swedish home was originally built in1792 ... now that is some history in a home!
I love the nursery, it's so sweet and light-filled ... like the entire house really.

Wow, everything about it is stunning. The swan rocker is adorable. I love the pale look of the building, but I'm not sure I could do it - I keep adding in bright colour to our place. Lovely to admire though :)
That is my kind of cottage Deej ..... I love the Scandinavian look. The home that we had before the one we are in now was a 17th century cottage, built in 1640 !!!! ...... built before the Great Fire of London and the Plague !! Thanks for showing this delightful cottage .... I can take a few ideas from it. XXXX
I love this cottage! Nice blog.
Greetings from the Netherlands.
I know what you mean Sarah.
Oh wow that is so amazing Jac's!
Hi there Retro Vrouw xxx
I like how the bust of Beethoven (I guess) is looking down at the swan rocker. Maybe he's thinking, "I know! I'll write a work about swans... on a lake! Oh, no, scratch that."
I also like the photo of the two teddy bears in the cradle. That's cute.
My favorite room is the kids' room with the crown floors and the pink hobby-horse. The bed is like a theater for dreams. I also like the old style of all the toys.
love this interior and the name of the cottage. your blog makes me happy! thanks for sharing.
So beautiful! I always love seeing photos of other 18th century homes - it serves as great inspiration for our own.
The whole entire home is absolutely amazing. I think my favorite thing is the swan rocker though!
