I'm with you DJ. Love Swedish and Danish design. It's somehow so effortless and calm. We're currently addicted to a Danish TV thriller called "Forbrydelsen"/ "The Killing". It is absolutely brilliant. Making me want to get my hands on the gorgeous jumper the lead character seems to always be wearing. Apparently it was so popular when screened in the UK that the BBC gave out a pattern so you could knit it yourself!
In this ridiculous summer Sydney weather, we could just about use a jumper like that:) Meredy xo

Yes very nice design...I find in Europe they always go with the neutral or white palette & add colour with furniture & accessories. I love that!
Can I have a home like this, pleeeeease?
oh yes, this is my favorite style. I adore the kids bedroom and the kitchen. hope you have a lovely weekend, darling DJ! xo
I so agree with you re Scandinavian designers. I feel the same about Swedish and Danish jewelry designers also ;-)

gorgeous places.
Those tall doors, windows, and moulding in this Swedish home are all the perfect foundation for any style of decorating.
Thank you for sharing!
