I was a bit taken aback when I saw this first picture, was that view real! Yes it is, and the rest of this minimalist home in the middle of a forest, near a lake in Finland is pretty amazing too. I guess when you are surrounded by such natural beauty you would want to keep a mostly neutral palette so as not to take away from the amazing vistas.

If I'm allowed to decorate just a bit then I'm ready to move in. But I'm wondering if I'd feel a bit too much exposed in there – funny how interior photos can sometimes reveal a thing or two in one's character ;-)
